We make all of our own Arcadia mixes for premium quality and consistency, and we use only the finest soiless ingredients.

Our orchid mixes include Rexius fir bark because it is the highest grade available and is heat treated to kill pathogens. We use expanded clay hydrocks in our mixes instead of perlite or sponge rock because it is naturally brown colored, does not float, holds 20% moisture, and provides perfect aeration for plant roots. All of our potting mixes are pH neutral and use only organic products.
Each 8 qt. bag (13" x 15" overstuffed) will repot approximately:

Diatomite is a good source of porous media to provide aeration for orchid mixes. This naturally organic product has microscopic pores that hold 30% moisture. It is pH neutral and will not decompose.
